At AISMA our kindergarten and elementary school students learn through a child-centered approach in
which they find their identity, meaning and purpose in life through authentic learning. The school fosters a
nurturing in which students develop a love of learning.
WHAT IS ASC?
American Society of Communications, ASC is an educational system based on neuropsychology.
ASC is a comprehensive learning system, focused on the development of competencies necessary for the future of children and adolescents, guided by fundamental ethical values.
It identifies their abilities and develops them through a differentiated methodology, taking advantage of new information technologies and the most advanced neurological researches, as well as the use of the best international educational experiences.
The quality of learning is conditioned by the methodology that supports it, and not by the academic content proposed in a syllabus.
Neurological research has opened the door for the creation of methods based on how the brain works and its multiple variants, exploration in successful international experiences and direct and innovative practice in the classroom. We can now propose a methodology that is more focused on competent and differentiated learning.
The overall goal of the Pre-school program is to foster in students an enjoyment of learning through
positive reinforcement and discovery based activities.
Much of the day is spent in center activities designed to develop pre-numeracy and pre-literacy skills,
practising fine and gross motor skills, and learning how to work and cooperate with others.
We understand that children at this age develop at their own pace and individual differences are
respected. The teacher fosters in the children a love for learning through activities that expand their
overall school readiness.
The kinder day consists of highly interactive activities that allow students to learn at their own pace, while
teaching them the skills necessary to succeed in school.
Students acquire skills to communicate effectively and to problem solve.
